We are a God centred, lively, friendly, welcoming church in the heart of Bothwell with a desire to serve God and to show his love to the people of Bothwell and the surrounding area.

Statement of Faith.

We believe in…

* the divine inspiration of the Bible and its entire trustworthiness and authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

* the universal sinfulness and guilt of fallen man, making him subject to God’s wrath.

* the Virgin Birth of Christ, His sinless life and substitutionary death as the only means of redemption from the guilt and consequences of sin.

* the justification of the sinner solely by the grace of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; such faith involving not only mental assent but personal trust in Him as Saviour.

* the bodily resurrection, ascension and personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

* the illuminating, regenerating, indwelling and sanctifying work of God the Holy Spirit.

* the priesthood of all believers, members of the one true Church, the Body of which Christ is the Head, and which is committed to worship, prayer, ministry, fellowship and evangelism.

In response to the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ we practice;

* The taking of communion by breaking bread and drinking wine in remembrance of Him. We welcome all true believers to join with us in this supper.

* Baptism (by immersion) of believers on their personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ.
