Prayer Ministry

Prayer (Ralph Gunn)

The Bible teaches that prayer is important. When we look at the life of Jesus when He walked on earth we see Him spending significant time talking to His Father in heaven. There are numerous examples of the power and results of prayer throughout the Bible.

Prayer plays a vital role in our church life and without it nothing eternally significant is likely to be achieved. A strong personal prayer life is encouraged for each Christian, but as a church there are two further opportunities outwith our main services to meet together to pray:

Sunday mornings 10am

Tuesday mornings 10am

During these times we pray for matters affecting the church, members within the church, the local community of Bothwell and the wider national and international scene.

We also have a regular prayer breakfast on some Saturday mornings, where the whole church are invited to pray and eat together.

If you have any prayer needs, we would be more than happy to pray for, or with you.  Please contact Ralph, Dave or any of the elders through this site.  All prayer requests are dealt with under the strictest confidence.

Verse of the Day

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. — 1 John 4:18 (KJV)
